VOMO can only operate with the assistance of funding from a number of bodies, agencies and supporters.
The VOMO tv project was funded by Creative Scotland, administering the Cashback for Communities scheme.
Cashback funded the creation of VOMO tv. Then VOMO was backed by Time To Shine - A Scottish Government scheme to an exciting promote youth arts strategy throughout Scotland. VOMO has received targeted funding through Time To Shine. This has funded an Arts Programme Department which allows VOMO tv to provide such comprehensive coverage of the arts in the Borders.
Creative Scotland is the body which has brought these elements of the project together. The Time To Shine funding sees VOMO working alongside the major Scottish Youth Arts Hubs
Other funders of previous projects include Awards For All. Investing in Ideas granted VOMO funds to investigate the possibility of a web-based youth TV station for the Borders. It was this seedcorn funding which led to the substantial support through Creative Scotland.
